Saturday, June 07, 2008	12:00 Noon	Williamsburg Landing - Main Building 5700 Williamsburg Landing Drive (Please park in the rear and enter by the side door.)	The Annual Meeting Luncheon. Help us celebrate our 45th Year! Speaker will be Olga Hernandez, President of the LWV of Virginia, who will outline the league's efforts to bring redistricting reform to our state. Read a brief bio on Olga! Join us to renew old friendships and meet new friends - to update ourselves on redistricting - to hear our plans for the new league year! Saturday, June 14, 2008	9:00 am	Courthouse Green 500 East Duke of Gloucester Street Historic Area, Williamsburg (Kimball Theater in case of rain)	Flag Day Naturalization Ceremony. A Naturalization Ceremony to swear in 100 new citizens! The League of Women Voters of the Williamsburg Area is joining other local organizations in welcoming the new citizens. Some of our members will be dressed as suffragetts; other members will be distributing information on voting rights and procedures and inviting the new citizens to join the league.
Saturday, June 14, 2008	1:00 pm	Hilton Portland & Executive Tower Hotel 921 SW Sixth Avenue Portland, Oregon 97204	LWVUS National Convention. The theme of the Convention is "Reaching New Heights Together." It opens at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 14 and runs through Tuesday morning, June 17.
